The Minister Urged Every Leader and Employee to Perform Their Duties Honestly and Impartially

The Minister of Construction and Housing and Communal Economy, Sherzod Khidoyatov, called for further strengthening of the uncompromising stance against corruption within the ministry system and urged every leader and employee to perform their official duties honestly and objectively.

The address emphasizes that heads of organizations and institutions, as well as employees across the system, must deeply understand their personal responsibility for preventing and putting an end to corrupt practices.

Today, the processes for involving design and contracting organizations in the construction sector are carried out entirely through an electronic tender system, eliminating the human factor. Digital platforms have replaced procurement commissions, making processes transparent and ending red tape.

As a result, corruption-related cases in the field of public procurement have been eliminated over the past 4 years. Furthermore, the requirements of the ISO 37001:2016 international standard are being phased into the industry.
