The Anti-Corruption Hackathon 2025 Winners Awarded
As previously reported, the Anti-Corruption Agency, together with IT Park, JSC Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Combine and the New Uzbekistan University, organized the Anti-Corruption Hackathon 2025 on May 2-4.

During three days, about 150 young programmers competed in the development of software and Internet platforms aimed at ensuring the openness of government agencies, as well as those serving to prevent corruption.

In the final stage, experts evaluated presentations and software products of teams.
According to the terms of the Hackathon, the participants developed innovative solutions in the following areas using open data:
- preventing corruption in public procurement, sports, construction, finance and insurance systems;
- involving the population and youth in the fight against corruption;
- other approaches aimed at reducing corruption through open data.

The following teams won the Hackathon:
- 1st place: ‘Uzinfocom’ (Prevention of conflicts of interest in public procurement);
- 2nd place: ‘Equilibrium’ (Determination of conflicts of interest using artificial intelligence);
- 3rd place: ‘Austrum team’ (digitalization of the processes of organizing the Hajj and Umrah pilgrimages).

The winners of the competition were awarded memorable gifts.

The First Prize winner gained the opportunity to represent Uzbekistan at the Coding4Integrity Hackathon in Hong Kong, China in September, 2025.
